The signature Wollongong walking tour with a maximum of 10 participants (but usually less!). Children under 5yrs are free. This Wollongong walking tour can also be booked as a private tour. The tour requires a minimum of 2 to run.
Explore the historic Blue Mile and more around Wollongong Harbour, Flagstaff Hill and North Beach.
This is approximately a 4km walk at a relaxed pace of around 2kms/hr with all of the tour on paths, walkways or grass. There are some gentle inclines on Cliff Rd and Flagstaff Hill.
We meet at historic Osborne Park opposite Belmore Basin and walk, talk and wonder while exploring the social, colonial and industrial history of the area, along with the natural environment and scenic beauty of the Wollongong coast.
Hear the stories of early settlement, convicts, the coal and timber trades, shipping and the modernisation of the area leading to today's scenic beauty and outdoor delight between the mountains and the sea.

Meeting point
Tours leave and finish at the shelter shed/picnic area at the eastern end of Osborne Park, directly opposite Belmore Basin.
